No doubt in my mind we were trying to burn clock praying we could get a 1st running the ball. Coaches have 0 faith in our QB play cause of TO’s concerns.

We sat in the mizzou donor section and there were some mighty sad mizzou fans sitting all around us. In the 3rd quarter, several of us were discussing the game, and a mizzou donor sitting next to missus caddy asked, “ why is Auburn trying to run the ball so much when they have open receivers to throw to?”

I told them, “don’t be worried, we are going to turn the ball over … it’s a given at this point in the season. Better to turn it over via fumble than to serve up a game changing pick six”
