doesn't get more Classic Saban than him taking credit for his direct opponent's team win over even his own team.

I usually pull for the SEC in bowl games, but I have to say there was a bit of satisfaction in watching bama go down. I had that feeling they were not that good all year long watching them play ole miss, kentucky, and tulame.

I guess the moral of it all is that Saban is not a god & the gumps have truly fallen back to reality. Yes, Saban is a very good coach, but he is just as beatable as anyone else. Maybe this is a good loss for the gumps, they were just going a little too over-board with their feeling of being invincible, this year & beyond. They are eating a lot of crow right now...

anytime you can finish the season at #5 with michigan st., you are a pretty good coach. i'll take him back if he chooses.

All these Bama fans never knew or just forgot that Saban flew in to interview for Miles's job last year when we thought he was going to Michigan. Spurrier, too.
