Prediction for final regular season standings. Could Georgia go 10-2, Miss SEC Championship Game, and get a home playoff game?

I wish all these newbies would stop using the expression, this is Kirby's conference now. Or anyone else's. It's stupid and historically highly uninformed. Life in the SEC, especially in the SEC, is what you make it. You get no more or no less than what you earn on the field and the scoreboard. So we have yet another thread perpetuating more of this same mythology.
As a fan of a team that has won 18 National Championships, 30 SEC Championships, and right now defending SEC Champion, you have to earn this stuff every year. For everyone else who thinks they are anointed based on earlier success, of any kind, please just shut up and deal. You're wasting precious bandwidth.

This is almost certainly where most of us will run to to now when we want a random sports' fan's opinion and a basic forum thread or water cooler talk isn't good enough.
That said, I don't mind the personal blogs, but at least share enough of your thoughts and argument in the OP, so that it could generate discussion on its own. Then, share your link. If people like your ideas, they'll read more.

I think there will definitely be a logjam at the top of the SEC this year because of the fact that Alabama, Texas and Ole Miss do not play each other. Some combination of those three could end up in Atlanta.
And yes, I think it is fair to give Georgia the benefit of the doubt since they have won two natties in the last three years. Those are my top four contenders this year.
