How do you feel about your new OC? Thought Gonzales was gonna be the one promoted?

Eh.
Addazio has been a coordinator before, and he has earned the job. He is a hot commodity and will probably parlay this new position into a head coaching job in 1-3 years.
Gonzales is young, has time to learn more. He will be given more responsibility under Addazio. Previously he was just WR coach and red zone coordinator. I believe our offense will open up a bit more next year for one reason.
1. When behind or under duress, Mullen locked up the offense and made it the Tebow/Harvin show. Not until post-Ole Miss game did Mullen open up the playbook.

Not that Mullen didnt do a good job, I just think that Addazio will keep the offense productive.

Urban Meyer runs that offense so it really doesn't matter who they hire.

Addazio was the guy that said he didn't expect LSU to blitz way back in 2005, wasn't he? I just remember laughing my butt off because that was all that Saban/Pelini did that year on D.
