It's also a big deal for the general public to have some sensibility about where all this NIL greed is coming from. So far, it's the player's fault. The truth is guardrails need to be on NIL sooner than later because of the adults in the room. For the reasons we are discussing. Adults can't regulate their spending. That was predictable from the start. The Pac-12 just went away at the speed of sound because of pure greed. Tennessee just made an 8 million dollar deal with their QB. Now we hear about Miami and Florida saying essentially, hold my NIL beer.

It's the greedy and selfish adults in the room who just can't help themselves and will soon break the bank and the sport if left on their own merits for much longer.
