When his Hawks played at the Celtics his mom would come stay with my parents. I’ve visited with him several times and he has fond memories of that. Too 50 NBA player of all time speaks for itself. If he had a better supporting cast like Cousy and Russell did , he would have many nba championships. The consummate southern gentleman.!
