Was it bullshite when he said it? I want a running count of the Alabama fans who think Brian Kelly is full of shite for saying what he said and Nick Saban wasn't.

Nothing he said was bullshite. Alabama did not have a collective for that recruiting class, so he wasn't buying players with it. At the time, I think A&M was the only one with a collective.

He didn't like the shite so he retired, and I don't blame him. It's the entire reason he left the NFL, and now college football has turned into that.

If BK said - frick this shite, I'm not dealing with it anymore, I wouldn't blame him either. The entire thing sucks arse, but don't pretend like you aren't playing ball after you strike out.

Ya'll are so full of shite it's coming out of your eyes. Pre-NIL and Post NIL head coaches knew and know now what amount of money or other inducements it would/will take to get a certain player to sign. Was Saban paying players? You're God damn right he was. Maybe not from his own pocketbook. But did he know what it would take to get them to sign? Absolutely. Were there buffers between him and the bag men? Absolutely. But he knew what it would take and made sure it happened.

No, that's the bullshite you've made up in your head because that's what losers do rather than accept the reality. Because LSU is obviously the worlds best football program in the world and the only way anyone can do better is by cheating in your feeble mind.

Or you just plain lack the ability to see what you are really claiming.

If your HC is buying players, all it does is undermine the coaches authority. Your coach will never be able to discipline the players, because doing so gives that player the power and ability to end the coaches career at any point. All the player has to do is say to the coach, if you don't do what I say, your entire career is over, I will expose you for paying me.

Same for boosters or anyone else the HC comes in contact with. You don't seem to realize the power you as a person are giving to the other party when you commit things like this.

And you think Saban, a man who is known for discipline and being an authoritarian is giving up this power to many players every single year and manage to keep it under wraps 3 decades?

Hell, he didn't even like the shite in the NFL because he didn't like the lack of authority and control over the players. And now you are telling me he instead preferred it in college football?

All the facilities, support, coaching staff and things Alabama and top programs spend is for what? What Nick Saban sold was top of the line support and training for a future in the NFL where they would make millions. And it was successful because he had the results to back it up.

If a player got paid, it's done by boosters. And the HC wouldn't need to say anything, or manage the amounts, or any of that other bullshite fiction you've made up in your head. Who the coach wants and who the good players are isn't some big mystery. What they do isn't really under the control of anyone and the secret is only between that player and the booster. Schools can only try to monitor it and report anything they find immediately to show institutional control.

But I guess none of that reality helps fuel your hatred and ignorance to help you cope with reality.
