Here's what happened.

The kid took visits, everyone offered him "market value." Insiders say it was around $500k.

The kid's handler then started asking for more, some have said as much as $1.5 mil.

Both LSU and Texas said they weren't paying that, according to insiders for both teams, both jumped out around the same time.

Not really sure what happened at Mizzou, then the kid committed to OU. That's what all of this is in response to.
