The military is a good option for someone that doesn’t want to go to college. Especially if you pick a Medical related career field. Most medical jobs carry over to the Civilian side very well. I work in a hospital. About 25% of my Department is Military trained with no college degree.
And no, I don’t work in housekeeping or the cafeteria.

I agree. It’s not encouraged nearly enough either. You really set yourself up for a long time if you play your cards right.
