Episcopalians and the Presbyterians, over this and related issues.

Has it impacted the Presbyterian church? They’re pretty conservative, no? I know that the Episcopal church, while WASP-y, is pretty liberal thinking. Didn’t the Episcopal church have a big split because of this (Anglican vs Episcopalian)?

Regarding the Presbyterians—lot of different Presbyterian break offs/denoms—but yes, as to the PCUSA, the largest, most progressive body.

The smaller, more conservative denoms (PCA, EPC, ECO) don’t countenance it and are either static or growing.

The Presbyterian USA church allows homosexuals to serve in church leadership roles. The Cumberland Presbyterian Church is much more conservative on the issue.
