I fear for college football. The speed at which this greed has destroyed conferences and rivalries is startling. It's only the beginning of this complete mismanagement of the sport, so it could easily get to the point of diminishing returns and I lose interest entirely.

I quit the NFL about 20 years ago for following reasons:
1. Rosters full of mercenaries all about themselves.
2. Teams in cities I don't live near, don't care about and in a few cases have never visited.
College football no longer exists.
College football is now full of mercenaries who play only for themselves.
It's like low-quality NFL only everbody is unrestricted free agent and no salary cap.
Traditions and rivalries thrown out for sake of $$$$.
I already skip a whole lot of "college" football.
The more NFL-ized it becomes, the less I will watch.
College football is dead, but the body is still warm enough for lots of folks to not notice just yet.
