I am looking for some Spanish cedar lumber for a few projects to repair some cabinets and build shelves in a few tug boats. Does anyone have any lead on where this lumber can be found. I am in the process of calling a few places, any help is appreciated.

Try Acadian Cypress & Hardwoods in Ponchatoula.

I got some from Robichaux Lumber in Raceland. That was 10+ years ago but worth checking out

I looked into buying some for an outdoor project a while back. Can't help on where to find it but be aware that a lot of the new stuff isn't as durable as the stuff people were using 20-30 years ago. IIRC, there are spanish mahogany tree farms in Africa that gets sent here. The good stuff should come from South America but I'm not sure they don't have tree plantations down there too. Obviously the problem with a tree farm is the same as lumber from a pine plantation where its just grown too fast. Rot resistance and stability suffers.
Maybe for your purposes it doesn't matter. Just know the salesmen will happily sell you SM but won't mention that its shell of its former self.

I think Gueydan Lumber in Metairie keeps some.
