There is a reason why Bryant and Saban are listed as top 5 hires. It is because they coached at the last football and factory in America. At UAT both Bryant and Saban had an unlimited and unsurpassed budget for overall payroll, recruiting, gold-plated facilities (plus now unlimited NIL $$$) and most importantly no pushback from the admissions office or the Bama administration. Bama football is only very vaguely associated with the University of Alabama and for all intents and purposes it is a totally autonomous organization. So beware and be forewarned that the drive-thru window guy at McDonald's could win 9-10 games every year at Bama.
