Here's why this makes no sense and is only troll worthy, and for you it would be just the opposite, Bad that he won and Good that he left. But I digress.

For starters I predicted in like 2011-12 or so that the top football schools would eventually take over in CBB, because the money is in football, thus they will stat enticing the better coaches away from from the Basketball schools, more so now with NIL coming in, Duke before long will not be able to compete, mark my words.

Secondly, if you can make as much at Bama as you can a Duke, UNC, UCONN (they will soon go down hard also, in about 5-10 years) Kansas etc. etc. and have better facilities (not counting the Arena just yet, but it will get done) and the pressure to win is nowhere near as intense, why would you ever leave. 20 years ago when football schools refused to pay top dollar for CBB coaches, and the AAU was nothing more than a way for big time schools tom cheat, UCONN, UK, KU, UNC all ruled, but that will soon come to an end. Texas, Bama, OU, Mich. Ohio St. USC, those teams will become powers in CBB. We will let LSU into the club every 7 or 8 years.
