Way to show how ignorant you are about UGA, pal. Georgia has a LOT of very wealthy boosters as well as thousands and thousands of small donors and boosters. You can’t attend a football game in Athens without seeing folks being honored on the field for their astronomical contributions.
The state is also full of businesses who support UGA and will show that support by participating in NIL. Georgia is a wealthy school with the majority of their students coming from the private schools of north Atlanta. There is definitely no lack of money or future revenue at UGA. And now that there are basically no rules, get ready, the money for NIL will increase dramatically. Gonna donate some myself.
Keep telling yourself your little fantasy if it makes you feel better. But you should know that Georgia spends more money than any other program on recruiting, makes huge profits every year and doesn’t accumulate long term debt. And the wealthy donors are plentiful and generous.
You sound more jealous than informed about UGA and coming from a fan of Alabama that’s understandable. Bama is a dirt poor state where most of its inhabitants are hard pressed to buy a six pack much less donate money to Bama.

Georgia is a wealthy school

UGA is 6th among the SEC schools in general endowment (Alabama #5). Athletic donations are fairly relative.

Your own coach supports regulation of NIL because he’s smart enough to see the big picture, obviously unlike you

Eta that how much the school spends on recruiting has nothing to do with how much boosters spend on buying players. Alabama has also led the nation is what was spent recruiting but if you think Alabama or UGA boosters can match what Texas boosters can raise then you are extremely naive. Kirby Smart knows it though

A little edification about Georgia’s wealthiest residents
LINK

Ben Chestnut. Ga Tech graduate

Dan Kurzius Family from New Mexico. Lives in Atlanta

Gary Rollins. Graduated from UT Chattanooga and UT

John Brown Stryker Corp. Auburn University

James Kennedy. Born in Hawaii. Graduated at University of Denver

The point, as previously noted, is that most of the wealthiest in the state of Georgia are not UGA athletic supporters, and use the pun as you wish.
