Also… you do realize that not every player starts the moment they step on the campus, right? Is he supposed to start over the incumbent starting QB who is a heisman favorite going into the season?

That really worked out for them, huh? There's more press about a back up not opting in than any of their starters opting in.

I do know the Mannings. I grew up in the same sports circles as Eli. I can whole-heartedly tell you they did not make Arch opt out to focus on football or to not accept NIL money. That's not how they work.
