At the beginning of the season, 90% of you said Texas didn't have the players to compete with Alabama and Texas would wilt under the pressure of an SEC environment.

Wrong!

Texas embarrassed Alabama at home, running the ball down Alabama's throats for 7+ minutes to end the game.

Alabama will probably have 3 NFL 1st round selections, 2 DB's and an OT.

Texas embarrassed all 3 all night long.

Not everybody was ignorant of the quality the Texas program.

In the eyes of the NFL, Texas went from a poor Player Development grade to A+ in 2 years, sending 11 players to the Combine.

Texas didn't "waste" anybody's talent this year.

Sarks running back by committee, run first offense dovetails perfectly with the NFL model. A lot of guys played and a lot of guys got prepared for the NFL.

Oh, and Texas went from a losing record to the CFP Playoff in 2 years.

That is not wasting Talent.
