Steal him from Beamer. Good recruiter. Just hope he stays away from helping Bobo.

At first blush, this is very underwhelming. He was a lights out recruiter, however.

To each their own, but I don't understand how any Dawg fan couldn't feel good about this hire. Might be the best recruiter in the whole damn country.

And the idea that Coley going to somehow "taint" our offensive gameplan, I don't get. You can't be an OC for Florida State and Georgia and be completely hopeless and useless. I remember when Bobo was hired it was "don't let Bobo get anywhere near Monken."

...If we can get the old Cedar Grove coach from Arkansas, you could make a strong argument that we actually upgraded our offensive coaching staff.

How should we feel that we stole Ga Yech’s WR coach? Why are we poaching their crappy staff? Have we dropped to their level?

While he wasn’t great as OC, I do think the offense that year would have struggled no matter what. RB room was good. Fromm was Fromm. O-Line underachieved. But the receiver room was an often injured Cager and Pickens running 1 and a half routes. Nobody got separation. That’s hard to overcome. Makes everybody look much worse.

But he’s not coming here to re-try his hand at calling plays. He’s coming here because Kirby loves him and he’s an elite recruiter.
