re: No one should be surprised when college football players gets arrested

It’s no surprise. These players today, are told they are something special since about 9th grade. The normal rules don’t apply to them. Universities give “scholarships” to totally unqualified athletes that can’t meet the academic’s requirements for admission. It’s time to apply a unified entrance requirements for admission and transfer to players. It will really out a dampener on the thugs, the greedy NIL deals, the transfer portal and instill a modicum of school loyalty.
