Since Regional was bought out by Piedmont, it has expanded considerably in town. Theres also St Mary’s and the Gainesville operations to the north.

Question I have is what (if any) additional physical build out might be required of the Health Sciences Campus (old Navy School) in pursuance of accreditation and how that drags out the timeline. Curious, too, if this will include a nursing program, PA, PT, etc

Either way, bout fricking time the Augusta stranglehold was broken. State needs more doctors and we need them now.

Daughter is currently a student at MCG in Augusta. I believe they have campuses all over the state. After her first 18 months, she will rotate out of Augusta to one of the other campuses. I believe they are currently in Rome, Athens, Savannah and Albany, along with the Augusta campus. We have been very impressed so far in the Med School.
