2. Mississippi State and Ole Miss slip get back to the NCAA Tournament
3. Arkansas, Florida and Vanderbilt are national seeds.
4. South Carolina hosts a regional.
5. Alabama is a bubble team, but gets in. Auburn hosts a regional.

National

1. East Carolina finally makes Omaha.
2. Oregon State returns to the CWS.
3. NC State wins the ACC and is a national seed.
4. UCSB, Coastal and Northeastern (preseason top 25 teams) - only one makes the NCAA Tournament.
5. Iowa hosts a regional and gets beat by a lower tier SEC team.
