The flight wasn't free. Delta didn't let him ride just because. It was paid for by Spyre, his NIL. And the NCAA can't tell NILs what they can do. Putting any rule restricting them or a team from hosting one of their clients is a restriction.

It’s like you guys purposely ignore very key elements. This has nothing to do with the NL. They’re investigating a booster flying a recruit to campus for a recruiting visit.

They can say a visit to meet staff on campus isn’t allowed since spyre paid for the visit.
