I’m sure I’ll miss some candidates but here is a short list of ones I have read about or already know about…
1980 Georgia (unanimous NC)
1982 Georgia
1983 Auburn
1984 Florida
1985 Florida
1985 Tennessee
1987 LSU
1989 Tennessee
Maybe 1980 Georgia is the obvious choice? I think 1984 Florida and 1985 Tennessee are contenders.

That may be true, it no doubt is..
But business transactions of this nature require somewhat more businesslike consideration than the ordinary transaction.

Absolutely not. Take a look at their schedule and margin of victory. 1983 Auburn is the likely answer. [

I'm voting for Vandy in 1982 8-4. They would have won those 4 games but refs were against them and they just ran out of time.
