They don't have Saban and being a blue blood doesn't really matter any longer.

They are still an elite program though, just like any other elite program.


Sure. It only took the complete overhaul and transformation of major college football into a glorified semi-pro league to do it. But sure.

Meh, this has been true for awhile. Saban just artificially extended that period for Alabama.

Being a blue blood hasn't actually given a team an advantage since probably the mid 90's.
