I doubt Alabama will fall off a cliff but they need to understand that Alabama football, in and of itself, is no longer "special."
They don't have Saban and being a blue blood doesn't really matter any longer.
They are still an elite program though, just like any other elite program.

Sure. It only took the complete overhaul and transformation of major college football into a glorified semi-pro league to do it. But sure.
