The article says Arizona not Alabama. Kind of sad to lie about this

Doesn’t matter Alabama, LSU, Ole Miss, Miss State, Auburn all historic schools with good to great football history cannot play the NIL game every season like a lot of other schools can. Outside of some instate kids the idea of being loyal to a university is dead. It will hit every school at some point in time unless there is some kind of equity rules put into place. CFB is going to consume itself.

While it may be tough to compete in an NIL world where everybody has the opportunity to compete...

Those guys (Alabama, Lsu, Auburn, Ms St, Ole Miss, ALAMO) sure knocked it out of the park when they were playing a straight up bag game. Come to think of it, the Alamo guys all died.

Whether you choose to believe it or not, most schools choose not to go that route, and were not as competitive as a result. The pendulum has swung the other way, where the wealthier schools have a decided advantage over the poorer schools. "That's a fact, Jack!!!"

As far as loyalty to a school, prior to the runaway bag game, most instate kids choose to stay instate, or relatively close. $$$ allowed these schools to compete for kids across the country. They still can. The biggest difference is everybody can, now. Do you find it puzzling that most kids tend to transfer back to where they came from?

The Transfer Portal definitely needs some guard rails. Having an open season on players before the conference championships and end of year playoffs is horrible. Unlimited transfers have to go.

Coaching changes have always been traumatic, the transfer portal just made it worse. It's only funny until it happens to you.

Having 27 year old men competing against 18 year old kids needs to go away. Maybe, pick on somebody your own size? We are almost to the end of the Covid super seniors, so maybe most of this goes away. The NCAA telling Tua 2.0 "get the f*ck outta here" is a good start.
