NIL isn't really the problem - it's the portal that needs to be fixed. A little over a month ago, Isiah Bond had a catch worthy of a Daniel Moore painting & today he's riding around in a Lamborghini in Austin. It's absurd.

There are easy fixes like changing the time of year the portal opens & scaling back the transfers to one transfer after your sophmore year.

Ffs we've had the portal for five years - do the guys at the NCAA actually think this is working well?

JMO but the portal should open only once per year and that would be after spring. If a player didn't want to go thru spring drills at the current program then he could opt out.

One time per year. Help the coaches try to manage the program.
