The fact that Sexton is still on campus, hours after Saban left for the day, speaks volumes.
They are not working out loose ends on Saban's retirement. (Saban would still be present).
Greg Byrne is doing something that no other AD has done. He's working directly, face to face, in the flesh, with an agent in regards of a potential hiring. Kalen DeBoer and Mike Norvell are both represented by Sexton.
