He was literally interviewing coaches yesterday. He was on Pat Mac Thursday of last week and was fine. Talking about the future. Something happened and I mean suddenly.

One thing that makes me think that this was coming was that on that Pat Mac show, Pat asked him specifically about his future at Alabama and about retirement. Saban gave a different answer than his normal "I've always been a part of a team" and didn't directly say "I'm not retiring"

He could be interviewing coaches and telling them who the next coach is going to be, trying to be a facilitator. He bought the house in Florida last year, he was gone after this year.

The guys wanting Kiffin and such imho, just do not understand championship football. I would rather have Oklahoma's current coach then Kiffin. The reason I am high on Harbaugh is his ability, but I do not like the guy at all, just mentioning the top coaches. Did anyone not see this coming when Steele retired after one year?

My pick would be Dabo, well it would be Kirby, but why would he leave? Just don't give me some offensive guru, good grief.
