Michigan won all their games and deserved the national title.
UGA was still the team that likely would have given Michigan their greatest test and Michigan didn't have to play them.
That happens sometimes. Last year Bama would possibly have been a greater test for UGA than any other team they played (the other option was OSU).
But like UGA this year, Bama didn't make it, and deservedly so in both cases.
Doesn't tarnish either UM's championship this year or UGA's last year. But in both cases they may have avoided the toughest opponent.

You do know that we had the game won with four minutes left and it went to overtime? And this was our worst team in years. Tell me about this better test. Two overtimes?
