Clearly that Bryce Young fella has trouble reading defenses, holds on to the ball too long, and takes too many unnecessary sacks

Bryce did hold onto the ball for too long at times. But he could also read defenses a lot better hence Bama’s better offensive output last year with an equally unimpressive receiving unit

Doug Marrone was the OL coach Bryce’s first year starting. The line vastly improved the next year when Wilford took over. Bryce was a magician in the pocket and kept us from being much worse in 2021. Milroe has zero pocket awareness and holds the ball too long. Everyone wants to blame Wolford and Rees but the reality is BoB and Marrone set us back. The OLine was good by the end of the year but our QB situation was extremely limited. I hope Saban has a legit QB battle going into spring ball or Jalen significantly improves with his processing and understanding of protections.
