I see this is gonna be Rees excuse like it was Bill O'Brien's..

Yet when Rees was at Notre Dame their offense was their problem.

Their fanbase celebrated when he left like we did when Golding left.

Not all their fans celebrated when he left, quite a few still supported him. If he was so terrible at ND, why did Brian Kelly try to bring him to LSU as OC when he was hired as the LSU head coach?

ETA: Not saying Rees has proven to be an elite OC yet, but the jury is still out. Bama's OL and QB issues made this season hard to evaluate him. Plus it was his first year under Saban. Next season we'll be able to tell better.

My boss who’s a huge ND alum and former player likes him and hopes he comes back there.
BTW, he thinks Milroe is deficient as a QB.

Rees game plan against Michigan ran into the teeth of their defense. I definitely think he was outcoached.
