We’ve gotten some quality guys from the portal. Leary may not have panned out but guys like Ray Davis, Alex Raynor, Marques Cox, and Keeshawn Silver all had good, immediate reps in areas of need.

But I feel like we have some pretty good talent evaluators in general, so that helps IMO. Looking forward to some of the UGA guys we’ve picked up in this off-season.

I wish Brock well, but the scuttle butt coming into the season was that Gunner was making the difference between the two razor thin. No one is gonna keep four and five stars stacked at that position once the battle has been settled without two and three year gaps in seniority.

JDJ is a great player and should be a starter right off. And hard as it may be to believe, getting injured probably cost him his job, or at least his hold on it, going into the next year. The two guys below him are far more athletic and if they learn the position, can play it better. He would have absolutely been a rotational player and seen the field a lot. Trez Marshall was the same way and started for Bama this year, so it could be great for you.
