Bowls are dead.
Back when "Division 1" was still a thing, Div II and Div III did not get bowls as those Divisions had these things called "playoffs" instead.
With playoffs a thing starting next year in what used to be Div 1, bowls no longer have any reason to exist.

They should have been dead long ago, pointless and dumb. Expand the playoffs like FCS and get rid of the dumb bowls.
