It's not a valuable time slot. Which is why only locally relevant games air in this spot. Which makes the whole "haha we have all time zones" ... moronic.

Because they would lose money at the gate and TV revenue and crime. I would be afraid to be out after dark in Michigan.

Actually, it turned out to be valuable and the B1G's TV deal proved that. The B1G now has content for all time slots which will make them even more valuable in the future. Plus, West Coast viewers will watch traditional B1G games and we will watch them.
