No matter how this season ends, Alabama will still be on top w/championships. Because of the new system put in place next year, Alabama will be the all time winningest CFP team and have the most CFP Championships. Add this to the most championships by the other major polls through the years.
Most CFP championships - 3 LINK
Most BCS championships - 3 LINK
Most AP championships - 12 LINK
Most Coaches (AFCA) championships - 11 LINK
Most MacArthur Bowl championships -10 LINK
Most FWAA (retired) championships - 7 LINK
Most Chicken Championships - 8 LINK
May be harder to win a championship next year with more teams in the playoff, but Alabama has had a heck of a run.
