Malakoff did a great job. Coach Driscoll does a great job as all the coaches that have teams there. i just wish the face baiter at Desoto gets drove. Duncanville is an open district, meaning they can take kids from other districts. Desoto was open but no more. The amount of recruiting in south part of metroplex is insane. Starts very early. There are a lot of handlers doing work. a good friend of mine, one of the SMU 9, takes care of the football program at Malakoff. Money well spent. Aledo has the so called booster club that takes care of business. Some of their kids don’t look like the kids growing up in Aledo. I live in a 5A school district. by dividing up into division 1 and 2 creates travel stupidity in playoffs. our district is in DFW and we can play teams in Amarillo or El Paso in the second thru fifth rounds.
