And like I wrote earlier, the crack back block was not illegal at that time, just the way Ward did it was dirty. But I don't have any other examples for Ward in the NCAA. My comment about Ward was just one on Brumbaugh, nothing else.

When I played we had a designed crack back block. I was running down toward a LB and was going to completely wipe him out. He turned and saw me coming. Ouch. He made me pay for the attempt.
