Thanks for providing examples, I did not recall those. I would not call those dirty, just unsportsman since those were not meant to injure, but if others feel those are enough to warrant being called the SEC's dirtiest player, then so be it. I cannot deny those happened and were not necessary.
Btw, while I really really dislike UGA, I thought Murray was a real dude for taking those shots and still performing the way he did.

Lowering your head to spear someone in the back is pretty much to injure, for me. That said, it was actually not illegal to do that back then. (He actually got flagged for a late hit, I think)
The main one I took exception to was when he raked his chinstrap across Murry's chin. Not sure if it was in the clip I linked. That split his chin open and required stitches. It was definitely deliberately done to injure.
In all honesty...if you look through the thread, most (if not all) of the players mentioned were called out based upon one play...two at the most.
And, If I am honest, I would have to admit I took a dirty shot or two when I played. Players get caught up in the moment and hit somebody in the back, or things at the bottom of a pile when nobody can see.
