No, not at all. I thought it was way over the top and I have never denied it. I can admit Fairley was wrong but can you defend Ward? You are not addressing his actions.
Can you show another time Fairley was dirty? Serious question.

And even if Brumbaugh was not permanently injured and could not make the NFL, that still doesn't excuse Ward for going after his knee (which crack back blocks not illegal at the time but still does not excuse Ward for going after knees which he continued to do in the NFL).

I mean, we have videos of Fairley. If you show me a video of Hines Ward being dirty in college i might can. But I am not going to go by one fan base talking about one hit in one game. I mean, I gave you a video of Fairley taking three cheap shots at Murray in one game and numerous other fan bases have said similar things.
Show me a video of Ward being dirty and then I will call it.

YouTube
Not Fairly-nondescript Auburn player
Honestly? That is the one I found for Fairly. There were three different plays on that one video, though. And for some Auburn fans (not you) to be shocked that someone would go after another players knee, y'all might want to check out the play where Fairley went after Aaron Murry's knee.
