The difference here would be Texas waited for program success before throwing the bank at him.

But he hasn't played an SEC schedule yet. Let's be honest, Texas played ONE decent team last year that they beat. Two total. Almost lost to TCU, KSU, and Houston if not for favoritism from the refs
