What Mizzou has “got” is the second most All SEC selections in the conference and pros all over the field.

Your going to have stop looking at HS recruiting as the end all be all when the portal exists (where Mizzou just landed the #1 CB btw)

Mizzou will be very good again next year with what they have returning and the defensive pieces they will land in the portal

I ran into this about Mizzou and felt this was best place for it:

Let’s take a moment to appreciate what Eli Drinkwitz has done at Mizzou:

2020: 5-5
2021: 6-7
2022: 6-7
2023: 10-2

Mizzou was mediocre for a long time, but Drinkwitz has led Mizzou to a Top 10 finish, and has an opportunity to bring a NY6 trophy home.

I keep seeing Mizzou fans brag and posts like this praising Missouri. This year sure looked like an outlier record wise, so I decided to look. Turns out they took advantage of having what might have been one of the easiest schedules in history.

Wins vs top 25 in the final CFP rankings would be 2. Vs #21 and #25. Both those teams ended up 8-4.

The other teams they beat? FCS, 4-8 G5, 9-3 G5, 2-10 SEC, 7-5 SEC, 5-7 SEC, 5-7 SEC, 4-8 SEC.

Combined record of teams they beat (not including the FCS team)? 52-56

Let's stop acting like Missouri just woke up and beat a bunch of good teams.
