Talk about a let down.

One conference championship.

Zero Heisman winners.

Played in the most pathetic division in the Power 5.

1-2 versus Alabama.

Anyone calling what UGA has accomplished a dynasty does not understand what the word means. It has been a great run and is likely to continue....but it is not a dynasty yet. What Kirby Smart has accomplished at UGA in 8 years eclipses the efforts of ANY CFB in the history of CFB in their first 8 years as a HC. UGA may or may not be a dynasty in the future but they have not been one thus far except in the overheated imagination of idiots....

This is the correct and reasonable take. It’s likely Kirby will build and maintain a true dynasty, but Georgia fans are finding out how hard it is to accomplish what Saban has done at Bama. Getting to the mountaintop is difficult, doing it two years in a row is hard as fvck, but staying at or near the top for 16 straight years is damn near impossible (and I don’t believe Saban is finished yet). It may never be done again.
