There was a loud and clear message sent.
"frick you ACC. We could have had a 12 team playoff worth gazillions of dollars. You figs blocked it. FSU, enjoy your #5 playoff ranking and good luck against them illiterate shits in Athens."
The playoff committee made a political decision to make a point.
That said, frick Free Shoes U. It's what you get for hitching your wagon to the ACC. Bobby Bowden wanting those easy games finally bit you in the arse.
