Side note is - there is no longer a power 5... After the merger it's really: SEC, Next 2, Field at large. Note this is including merged teams into the conferences to show how much the good teams have been combined.


SEC - 17 total championships, 11 BCS + 6 CFP


Big gap


B10 - 3 total - 2 BCS + 1 CFP
ACC - 5 total - 3 BCS (includes Miami) + 2 CFP


Enormous gap.
