The Pac-12 is stronger than the Big-12 this year. There is no opportunity to get 1 more impressive win in the Big-12 to make up for any losses. Beating Ok State doesn’t gain any traction. The Big-12 winner basically needs to be undefeated to jump a 1 loss Pac-12 winner. So Oregon would get in.

So the OU loss hurts Texas worse than the Alabama win from week 2 helps, because Milroe didn’t know what he was doing.
Bama beating Georgia would be more impressive.
