The reality is few people aside from UGA fans watched the game, but those who did had no doubt UGA was going to win at any point during the night.
Congrats to the NATS for making it respectable on the scoreboard, but at no point was a UGA fan worried about the game.
GT’s offense was in the red zone 90% of possessions. A couple of plays go a different direction and UGA has a L

Again, you didn't actually watch the game.
At no point was there any concern. ESPN's little "win probability" thing never dipped below 80%. The only question was what the margin would be.
To Tech (and the ref's) credit, they did what was needed to keep the margin low. But they had no chance of winning.
They even did one of those "ten play, five minute drives when you need to score in 2 minutes"... which is effectively them conceding by taking the slow score UGA gave them that made it impossible for them to ACTUALLY win the game.
UGA often gives teams that choice... get a score to make it close but give up any chance to win, or throw deep or outside on a defense defending it to try to win, but you'll end up losing by a larger margin.
When the 4th quarter started with UGA up 3 scores, the game was over. GT wasn't going to get 3 possessions in the 4th.

Well, there is a meaningless stat that I have never seen used before. Credit to the techies for finding new weird ways to brag about another loss.
