I wasnt too mad about it. Kickoffs are unpredictable and he was an all american KO returner...last year.

Again, you have to give yourself the best opportunity to win. What are the chances he takes that to the house? A touch back and starting at the 35 is a sure thing. 25 yards with 30 seconds left gives you a chance to kick a tying field goal to force OT. You can’t do that starting inside the 15 with no timeouts, and no real threats to pick up 60 yards to get in field goal range. Football is as simple or as complicated as you make it and we insist on making it complicated.
