They went on the cheap to begin with in hiring him, and they handcuffed him to a NIL situation that is atrocious. The BOT not having the NIL stuff straight to begin with, seems to have bought Pittman more time to learn on the job.

Having the NIL stuff straight from the beginning likely would’ve equated to a handful more wins as well and Pittman’s faults would’ve been easier to swallow by fans.
