Apparently Lebby said no. As did Sumrall, Chadwell, Fritz, and a couple others. Guy said our turnover rate and firing a coach not even all the way through the first season left a bad taste in many coaches mouths.

States coaching tenures since Mullen:
Fired after going 14-12 in 2 years
RIP Pirate 19-17 in 3 years
Fired mid season after going 4-6 year 1

State has ONE winning SEC record in 23 seasons. It’s the Worst program in the SEC West who is looking for its 5th coach in 6 seasons. Currently getting out recruited by Vandy and losing most of its SEC quality players.
